I graduted in art history and soon found out that dissertation was not my cup of tea. It took me long years to finally comprehend what my dream job is. Although I have always been a crafty person and hat lover for many years, I couldn’t be more wrong thinking that headwear is a thing of the past… In Poland – where I live – hats were essential for women until 1950’s and forgotten ever since that time. Me and few others, we are trying to restore the art of couture millinery in our country.
Each headpiece is handcrafted by me. I keep developing my skills and learning new techniques. The forms I enjoy making the most are sculptural with feathers or silk flowers. The designs are uniqe, but I may create similar pieces that sligthly vary. Feel free to ask me about any modification, that would match your hair color or preferred type of mounting.
